Let the air out of your shoulds
We all have ideas about what we should be, do or have by a certain age. While there is nothing wrong with having goals, when you attach your self-worth to the achievement of those shoulds, you set yourself up for failure.
On my 48th birthday, I took a deep look at all the things I’d been beating myself up over for not having, being or doing and decided to let the air out of them. In short, I decided to stop “shoulding all over myself. ” Here’s how I did it.
